|1996 graduate publishes memoir|

Brandy Moore-Klutse, Class of 1996 - Moore-Klutse recently published a memoir titled "Beauty Redefined: Conquering Low Self-Esteem," which documents her journey of "rejecting destructive thought patterns and embracing a genuine self-love."
Moore-Klutse said she developed a love of learning and education while attending Pattonville. As a student, she was the subject of a St. Louis Post-Dispatch article titled "A Diamond in the Rough," which detailed her behavioral changes from grade school to high school. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's degree in education/curriculum and instruction. She is the mother of four children with a husband in the U.S. Army, which has enabled her to teach both professionally and in volunteer capacities across the United States and in Germany. Moore-Klutse currently resides in Brooklyn, New York with her family.
