Maintenance department installing custom-made barriers

The maintenance department has been working this summer to provide the necessary equipment to keep students and faculty safe. On July 24, they installed custom-made clear plexiglass barriers at Bridgeway Elementary School and will travel to the other schools in the district later this summer.

These barriers are perfect for tables in classrooms so students can still see and interact with each other while providing a layer of protection. The maintenance department is also working on custom-made barriers for classrooms with individual desks.

There will also be over 3,000 lightweight guards built to be used in offices and on teachers’ desks throughout the district.
