|Wednesday, April 8, 2015|
Austin Ratanasitee, a 2014 Pattonville High School graduate, had a close-up view of the recent U.S. women's soccer victory over New Zealand's national team at Busch Stadium. Ratanasitee was chosen to be a volunteer member of the U.S. soccer video team.
He helped film behind the scenes as the women's team defeated New Zealand 4-0 in a friendly match on April 4 before an audience of more than 35,000 spectators. His credentials gave him access to the locker room, press conference and field. Ratanasitee is already making a name for himself with his video work. He was recently honored with an Outstanding Student Employee Award for his video work with the athletics department at Webster University, where he is pursuing his degree.
Pattonville graduate Austin Ratanasitee, shown center, was honored for his work as a videographer for Webster Athletics. He is shown with Webster University Athletics Director Scott Kilgallon and Athletics Coordinator Amy Bommarito.
