Brenda (Hanneken) Barnicki, Class of 1982 - Barnicki is the founder and president of Bellafina Chocolates, a company founded to raise funds for worthy children's and literacy charities in East Tennessee and around the world.
Prior to going into the chocolate business in 2010, Barnicki worked 20 years with Eastman Chemical Company, including several years as vice president. She holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Washington University and a master's degree in management from the University of Tennessee. She also completed the advanced management program in leadership at Harvard Business School and continuing education courses in chocolates and confections at the Culinary Institute of America.
