|Alumna is new DARE officer at Drummond Elementary|

Jackie Evans, Class of 2000 - Evans is the new D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) officer for Drummond Elementary School in the Pattonville School District. A police officer with the St. Ann Police Department for nearly three years, she previously served as a school resource officer in the Ritenour School District and coached Ritenour's junior varsity softball team.
Evans earned a full-ride scholarship to Southeast Missouri State University, then moved to Missouri Baptist University to play softball. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Missouri Baptist in 2005. She is crisis intervention team trained and has a background in education working wtih special needs children and adults. Evans said, "I love working for the city of St. Ann serving and protecting the community. I'm honored to be a part of the Pattonville family."
