Board Actions

The board of education on Oct. 10:

  • Heard a Prop S update on current construction work; view the presentation;
  • Heard an update on Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) work at Remington Traditional School; view the presentation;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s MSHSAA program evaluation; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $4,514,976.24 for regular bills;
  • Approved paying $323,830.48, for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $3,238.30);
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com page;
  • Approved the contract between Pattonville School District and Special School District (SSD) for substitute personnel services for the 2023-2024 school year;
  • Approved the October 2023 transportation route miles for the 2023-2024 school year;
  • Lodged for action the adoption of policy ECG (Animals on District Property), revisions to policy BBF (School Board Member Ethics) and the rescission of policy JHC (Communicable Diseases); a vote is expected during the Nov. 14 board meeting;
  • Approved paying $7,663 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt for legal services;
  • Adopted a proclamation declaring Oct. 23 through 27, 2023, as Red Ribbon Week in the Pattonville School District; read the proclamation;
  • Approved the subscription renewal for Renaissance products and services through Renaissance Learning, Inc. for $97,200.37;
  • Approved the agreement with SchooLinks for an online program for the term of Jan. 1, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2026, with the cost per year as follows: year one is $28,051.23, year two is $29,144.53, and year three is $31,356.44, for a total of $88,552.20.
