Board Actions

The board of education on Nov. 10:

  • Heard an update from the Policy Review Committee;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s communication plan; read the report and view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $939,091.59 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of October 2020;
  • Approved paying $364,994.98 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $3,649.94);
  • Approved a contract between Pattonville and the Special School District for general education services for homebound students for the 2020-2021 school year;
  • Lodged for action revisions to policies IGBC (Parent/Family Involvement in Instructional and Other Programs), IGBCB (Programs for Migratory Students), IGBD (At Risk Students) and IGBH (Alternative School Programs) and the recession of Policy IGBHA (English to Speakers of Other Languages); a vote is expected at the Dec. 8 board meeting;
  • Approved paying $2,646.50 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt for legal services; and
  • Approved, as lodged for action on Oct. 13, revisions to Policy JHCB (Immunization of Students).

  • Raymond Cox, custodian, high school, effective Nov. 27 after serving Pattonville for 1 year
  • Terri Ivie, bus driver in transportation, effective Oct. 28 after serving Pattonville for 19 years
  • Deborah Richter, nurse, Pattonville Heights, effective Oct. 30 after serving Pattonville for 11 years
