Students at Pattonville Heights Middle School went to great lengths to figure out how to determine jump distance on other planets. After creating a hypothesis concerning the relationship between jump distance and gravitational force, students in Ms. Terri Sallee’s science class went outside and measured their jump distance three times using meter sticks.
The Pattonville Heights Middle School cross country team won the district’s first intramural cross country meet. The 2-mile race organized by the community programs department was held at Remington Traditional on Wednesday with the course going through Vago Park. The high school cross country team attended to run as the rabbit and to cheer on and mingle with the middle school teams. Every participant received a free treat from Kona Ice after the race.
When preparing for a unit on the classical period of Greece, Holman Middle School Pirate Academy English and social studies teacher Maegan Bowersox watched a video on National Geographic about the Greeks.
