On Sept. 20, Pattonville School District began work with parents, students, community members, staff and area leaders to update its strategic plan during its first CSIP (Comprehensive School Improvement Plan) meeting of the year. The updated plan will focus on ensuring all students are successful both in school and beyond and planning for and addressing any critical issues that may arise. Pattonville updates its strategic plan every five years.
The Pattonville community is invited to join in as Pattonville celebrates homecoming on Oct. 7 and 8. Pattonville will celebrate homecoming with a variety of activities open to the Pattonville community. Families with children who plan to attend kindergarten during the 2022-2023 school year should enroll their child during kindergarten registration, set for March 1 through 3. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2022, to enroll. Here’s everything you need to know to register.
Dear Pattonville families and staff,
As we have mentioned in previous communications, our intention is to bring students into our classrooms for in-person learning as soon as possible. In consultation with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health, we have determined it is safe to bring students in preschool through second grade (PreK-2) back for phase 2 of in-person learning. Early childhood will begin on Monday, Sept. 21, and K-2 will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 22. We hope to expand in-person learning to other students as soon as possible. County health officials shared today that children ages 5 to 9 currently have a significantly lower positivity rate for COVID-19 than children ages 10 and up. The county health department continues to recommend virtual instruction for middle and high school students, who make up the bulk of new youth cases in St. Louis County.
Kindergarten registration for the 2021-2022 school year will take place online March 2 through 4. In order to attend kindergarten next August, children must be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2021. Find how to register below.
