As part of a science unit, third graders in Ms. Kelly Wilkin’s class at Remington Traditional are researching and writing a report on an animal of their choice. They are finding basic facts about their animal, describing the ecosystem they live in and explaining adaptations which help them survive.
Just one week away from the general election, students at Remington Traditional School are participating in Kids Voting USA. They are gaining an appreciation of the power of voting, studying the candidates and important issues, and understanding the registration process in order to participate in an election.
More K-2 students who selected in-person instruction this fall returned to school today across the district. We visited Drummond, Parkwood and Remington Traditional to see what students and staff members are doing in the classroom.
We're making it easy for you to take a customized photo of your child on the first day of school (Aug. 31). Simply download one of our signs and take a photo. Make sure your posts are public so we can see them. Upload them by noon on Sept. 1, and we'll share as many as we can to celebrate our first day back.
Pattonville School District will continue offering the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) meal program the district offered over the summer until Dec. 31 or until funding runs out and will extend the program to students returning to classrooms. The free meal service is open to all children 18 years of age and under. No ID or paperwork is required to participate.
